| The business idea of HMR Hydeq is first and foremost to develop and build special mobile equipment and pot casings for the aluminium industry. The enterprise, named Hydeq in 1989, grew out of a department of the Hydro Aluminium Årdal (one of Norway's largest aluminium smelters), that in turn was established in 1973.

HMR Hydeq is nowadays a private company, incorporated in HMR Group. Our products, i.e. modern special mobile and stationery equipment are carefully designed to meet the specific needs and demands of our customers. Maintenance, service and spare parts are a natural extension of the services delivered by HMR Hydeq.

| Located very close to Hydro Aluminium Årdal, HMR Hydeq is able to benefit from close co-operation with potroom specialists, operators and R&D personnel. This allows us to develop the most suitable equipment for pot-handling that meets the needs of both today and tomorrow technologies. The plant, which operates both end-to-end and side-by-side prebaked pots, offers HMR a range of unique possibilities in adapting our vehicles to different types of technologies.

| Among the valued customers to HMR Hydeq are six of Norway's seven aluminium smelters. This is in addition to aluminium plants in other countries.

| To date, the company has produced over 250 different purpose vehicles, including Tapping Vehicles, Anode Changers, Feeders, Spading Vehicles, Wheel Crust Breakers amongst others.

| At HMR Hydeq, we have our own Engineering Department. Research, development, determination and ability to break fresh ground have brought HMR Hydeq where we are today.
