Protech provides modern solutions in both welding and machine technology. Machining jobs range from milling of casting moulds, thrusts, propeller housings, propeller brackets and reactor housings to mechanical maintenance of steel structures.

Protech delivers anode stud bars and cathode collector bars. The company repairs as well current carrying details for the smelting industry. In these fields, Protech co-operates closely with HMR Årdal. Their common deliveries of collector bars account for a large proportion of all cathode steel supplied to the aluminium smelting plants in Norway, while anode studs from those two companies dominate Norwegian market. Protech carries on also maintenance works on anode yokes and rods.
