The\nCovid-19 situation continues to affect the global economy and demand for the\nproducts and services on many markets. HMR is continuously assessing and\nadapting to the changing market situation. While the situation is leading to\nreduced production and temporary layoffs at some of HMR\u2019s companies, others are\nnot so effected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For\nexample, HMR Hydeq has a solid order situation of close to NOK 200 million for\ndelivery over the next three years. Of course, the aluminium market on which\nHMR Hydeq is mostly operating is under an impact of considerable uncertainty,\ndrop of prices and cost reduction programs. Investments as for example ramp-up\nof Hydro Husnes aluminium plant, Norway, are being postponed and it will\nnaturally have considerable consequences for the suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, HMR\u2019s\npriorities are to continuously adjust ourselves to Covid-19 situation, concentrate\non the improvement measures within our own organisation and safeguard the health\nand safety of our employees and the communities by following the measures\nimposed on by the health authorities and our own HSE\/QA systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
